A lovely thank you from Children’s Hospice South West (4th July 2016)
I want to say thank you so much for your energy, enthusiasm and continued support of Rainbow Run. We had a fantastic day with over 3100 participants and we hope to raise over £130,000 from the event which is just incredible!
Paul was absolutely incredible, on the Thursday doing all of the collections, on the Saturday itself and then dropping everything back on the Monday – he was a superstar!
James – we are so very lucky to have your continued support of our events, we really would be totally lost without your help and support, I can’t stress that enough.
Can we book you in for Santas on the Run please? Sunday 11th December.

Supporting Children’s Hospice South West
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is a wonderful local charity that we have a close affiliation with. As a family business that has been operating in the area for more than 100 years we are delighted to work with this local charity that does such brilliant and important work. Every time we visit CHSW in Wraxall we are inspired by the happy and colourful environment that is provided for children and families who are facing life limiting conditions. We have been involved with CHSW since 2006 when fundraising began for the new hospice. Since then we have raised more than £11,500 in cash as well as donating time and resources for numerous events and activities. Yeates’ Managing Director James Griffin said: “We get a lot of satisfaction out of our partnership with CHSW and try and do all we can to help in a variety of ways. CHSW do such brilliant work and it is a privilege to be able to help.”
Declutter and donate when you move!
This is our charity service that we offer for our removal customers. We collect unwanted, good quality, furniture and household goods during removals. The goods are then sold in CHSW shops. James Griffin said: “Our customers really like the opportunity to declutter during their move whilst donating to charity at the same time. We take all the hard work out of it for customers as we move and collect everything making it as straightforward as possible.” If we are moving you just ask for some sacks and we will collect them on your move day. Likewise any large items of furniture that you want to donate can be taken at the same time.
How we help at CHSW events
Yeates’ distinctive lorries can often be spotted helping out at CHSW events such as the Rainbow Run and Santa’s on the Run by providing transport and even a helping hand from James himself.
Janey Hellman, CHSW’s Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser said: “Yeates has been a huge supporter of Children’s Hospice South West starting with our appeal to build Charlton Farm, our local hospice in Wraxall, back in 2006. Since then Yeates has continued to increase the support offered by getting involved in many different aspects of fundraising. We are so grateful for the donations that Yeates has made but the value of our partnership goes far beyond this with the huge amount of time and resources that Yeates has contributed to supporting our charity shops and fundraising events.” For more information about CHSW visit www.chsw.org.uk
